WELCOME! Please send me a message if you're interested in joining Ms. Marti's Piano Studio offering virtual lessons via Zoom and Face Time as of March 23, 2020.  In person lessons also being offered starting June 2022 with Covid protocol in place. The physical studio is located in Austin, TX (NW - Arboretum Area, close to Laurel Mountain & Caraway Elementary Schools, Canyon Vista Middle School). In the comment section, please indicate if the student (child/adult) has any previous participation in musical or arts related activities. I'll send you my studio calendar and policy and we'll discuss things further.

Private piano instruction includes lessons tailored to fit each student that includes creative off-the-bench activities, note-reading, improvisation, sacred music (hymns, service music), chord chart and lead sheet reading, theory, technology time (iPad apps), preparation for 3 studio recitals each school year and other events and competitions as requested. The studio also has a YouTube account where videos can be shared with others by permission of the student/artist performer. In addition to Classical style, Musical Theater, Pop, Jazz, Blues and Ragtime are also taught.

Students are expected to have a piano (88 keys, acoustic preferred) OR electronic piano with weighted keys to start and time set aside to practice.
